Scales & interactive keyboard — major, minor and modes
The Scales tool in the Maurisson Music Hub shows, for any key, the notes of a scale on an interactive piano keyboard — and maps them onto the guitar, bass and ukulele fretboards. Everything you need to understand a key, improvise and harmonize.
Every scale, on a keyboard
Pick a root and a scale type — major, natural minor, and the modes (Dorian, Phrygian, Lydian, Mixolydian, Aeolian, Locrian). The interactive keyboard highlights the notes of the scale and lets you play them with your finger.
The same scale on every instrument
The scale maps onto the guitar, bass and ukulele fretboards: you instantly see where to play the same notes on each instrument. Handy for moving from piano to guitar without losing the thread.
Understand the degrees and harmonize
Beyond the notes, the tool helps you think in degrees (I, IV, V…): which chords belong to the key, which ones sound good together. It's the direct link to the chord book and the MIDI Studio, which shows the harmonic degree in real time.
